It is amazing to see how life will blossom and bloom before our very eyes when we learn to relax and leave things in the more than capable hands of God. Is letting go always easy?
By no means is it easy. Not when we are used to our lives being a certain way, and God steps in and rearranges everything because He knows what we need and when we need it. We become so uncomfortable, like a baby eagle in a nest that has been stirred by a loving mother. The mother aims not to cause the eaglet harm, but for the eaglet to understand that it is sitting on great potential, and within, there is destiny that must be birthed.
Yes, the hands of God upon our lives can make us very uncomfortable!
The eaglet’s destiny cannot be realized when it is snug in a nest being cared for 24/7.
Is the care the eaglet receiving not good enough? By all means, it is. The parents of the eaglet tend to all its cries. However, the eaglet’s parents know that it was born for much greater than sitting in a nest with a single view being fed. The eaglet’s destiny is to soar someday where common birds dare not venture — to open its wings and soar into vast open spaces.
Like the mother eagle that carefully builds her nest to nurture her young until the day comes for its potential to be realized, so out of love, the Holy Spirit will stir our nest so that we too can walk into His divine plans for our lives. When He stirs our nest, we tend to question His love for us. Remember, it is out of love that He nudges us out of the nest. He knows our potential. He knows what we were created for. Out of love, He desires for what He had in mind before we were conceived in our mothers’ wombs to flourish and bring forth fruit in due season.
In life, when you know within yourself that you are living and walking daily in the will of God being led by the Holy Spirit and things just do not make any sense, trust God. He will never allow you to fall. Always remember it is not what surrounds us but who surrounds whatever it is that surrounds us.
As the mother eagle nudges and pushes the eaglet, the father circles below the nest, waiting to fly to the rescue of the eaglet if it does not spread its wings. The father will never allow the eaglet to fall to its death.
Today remember you will not fall! You will not fail when you walk with God! If you do not soar on your first attempt out of the nest, you gain experience to take flight in the future.
Trust His process.
Trust His methods.
Have faith, knowing that your Heavenly Father is in control!
You will never be given more than you can bear. Do not look at the mountains you see, but look to the creator of all things you see, to create a way out of no way. Remember the very wind and waves obey Him, and at the appointed time, He will speak to your mountains!
Your Heavenly Father loves you and finds no pleasure in your demise. What we are allowed to face in controlled environments is His grace and mercies towards us. Look at life through the lens of eternity. A plant is not pruned forever! Your change is coming.
