A Spiritual Goal We All Should Have For The New Year

January 19, 2024

Dear Friend,
2023 has ended, and we have transitioned into 2024. How will we, as children of God, choose to invest in our Spiritual growth?
For some time now, the Holy Spirit has been calling me into intentional prayer for all areas of my life, especially for my family.

Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builder’s labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”

At the beginning of December, My family had an experience that required nothing but a miracle. We prayed, and the Kingdom of Heaven came to our defence. Dear friend, I am telling you that God is still answering prayers and working miracles.

Luke 11: 9-10 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Who is telling us to ask in prayer?

Who is saying “I say to you”? It is He who knows the greatness of God and the weakness of man.

The prayer my family and I prayed was a knocking prayer, and God, our Father, did not turn us away. We were granted a miracle, so I know for the child of God who chooses to knock in prayer, doors will be opened.

Friend, prayer is our lifeline. It is the key that opens doors that do not even exist.
When we pray the will of God, our Father will disturb the laws of nature, and that, simply put, is what a miracle is.

“When the Creator gives His creature the power of thirst, it is because water exists to meet its thirst. When He creates hunger, there is food to correspond to the appetite. Even so, when He inclines men to pray, it is because prayer has a corresponding blessing to it.” Charles Spurgeon

For the New Year, my spiritual goal is to spend time asking, seeking and knocking because I know that when we ask for what aligns with the will of God, we will receive.

Friend, the weapons of our warfare, are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.

Friend, there is a realm that is more real than this natural one that we live in. What we see here is just a reflection of what is happening in the realm of the spirit.

Friend, I implore you to pray without ceasing, making your Request known to God. Jesus is telling us to ask, seek, knock!

John 16:24 “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

Matthew 9:29 “According to your faith will it be done to you.”

Friend, he who asks will have. He who seeks will find. He who knocks will have it opened.

Friend, be it unto you according to your faith!

I hope these words encourage you to pray!

You know I love hearing from you. Feel free to send me a message at any time.

Thinking out loud because life is better shared!
