“If we fight our battles on our knees, we win all the time.” Charles Stanley
The Holy Spirit is planting in me in this season a deep desire to pray.
Many times in the past, I struggled to pray, but a few months ago, God gave me firsthand experience of the power of prayer. Now, I understand that prayer moves the hands that rule the world. Payer is communicating with our Heavenly Father, and it is a spiritual discipline we must develop.
Friend, my daughter was lifeless in my hands, and the Holy Spirit instructed my family on exactly what to pray, and today she is with us.
This is a testimony I am writing to share, but the images of her lifeless, heavy body and the emotions I felt are still so real and painful. However, when these feelings surface, they are replaced with endless streams of gratitude that flow when I think about God’s goodness and grace to my family. Friend, our God is still working miracles.
Friend, prayer will cause the greater things to happen that our Father declared we would do if we believe. Friend we only need to believe.
John 14:12-14 “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
Friend, when we pray, we are talking to the creator of the universe.
When we pray, we talk to the one who is in control of all things.
When we pray, we are talking to the almighty, all-powerful, all-knowing and ever-present one.
When we pray, we are talking to the one whose name shakes the gates of hell and the one whom angels obey.
When we pray, we are before the one who told us to come to Him to ask, seek, and knock, and we shall find.
When we pray, we pray to the one who can disturb the laws of nature.
Charles Spurgeon states, “When we pray, we are placed upon a vantage ground. When we pray, we stand where angels bow with veiled faces. Where the Cherubim and the Seraphim adore.”
Friends, do not take praying as if it is a powerless lip service.
Friend, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in the pulling down of strongholds.
Friend, we have a God that listens; we have a God that acts on behalf of those who wait on Him.
Matthew 21:22 “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
1 John 5:14-15 “And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.”
Friend, our prayers avail much.
Friend, when we pray the will of God, our prayers allow the Holy Spirit to move, creating signs and wonders.
Our God is not a man, that He should lie.
He places His word above His name.
Your prayers can change your family’s life, friend.
Prayer will restore your finances.
Prayer will heal the sick. It will make the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk.
Prayer will make time stand still.
Prayer destroys the works of the kingdom of darkness.
Prayer will cause our Heavenly Father to stretch forth His hands, according to Acts 4:30, to work miracles and signs and wonders in the name of His Holy Son, Jesus Christ.
Acts 4:30 “Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your Holy Servant Jesus.”
Pray, Dear Friend, because prayer shifts things around in the spirit realm.
Pray in the name of Jesus!
Thinking out loud because life is better shared.
